What is The Sipster Whiskey Club?

The Sipster Whiskey Club is a monthly, guided whiskey tasting experience designed for curious beginners, seasoned whiskey drinkers, and everyone in between.

Hosted in The Sipster, a premium independent off-licence and tasting room in Whiteabbey, each session takes place in a stylish cellar-style space with exposed brickwork, low ceilings, high tables, and a relaxed, intimate atmosphere that’s ideal for focused tastings and conversation.

Each month, we explore a different whiskey theme, distilleries, styles, cask types, or brand-led sessions in a setting that’s welcoming rather than intimidating. This isn’t about showing off knowledge or drinking for the sake of it. It’s about great whiskey, good conversation, and learning something new every time.

The Whiskey Club will be hosted by Ronan Collins (AKA Whiskey4Breakfast) who has worked across all aspects of the whiskey industry.

What’s Included

A guided tasting hosted by Whiskey4Breakfast and/or brand representative

A curated lineup of (at least) 6 whiskeys in Glencairn Whiskey Glasses

Insight into how the whiskey is made, why it tastes the way it does, and what makes it interesting

Brand stories and industry insight 

A relaxed, friendly atmosphere, no snobbery, no pressure

Some nights may include guest speakers or brand representatives, but every session is fully guided and worthwhile.

How the Club Works

One tasting per month

Limited capacity 

Same venue, same time, same quality standard

Each session has a clear theme, announced in advance

Glencairn Tasting Glasses and Water Jugs for a premium experience

You can attend one session or come every month, it’s completely up to you.

Over 18s only

Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to someone else

Please arrive 5 minutes early to get settled - seats will be allocated to keep seating comfortable.
